Mr. Dick is also a Director of Liberty Global, Inc (LGI) (NASDAQ:LBTYA) and has held these positions since its inception in 2005. Mr. Dick served as a Director of UnitedGlobalCom, Inc. (UGC) from 2003 to 2005, and prior to that was a director of United Pan European Cable (UPC) based in the Netherlands.

He has served as a Director and Executive Officer of various communications, development and manufacturing companies based in a number of countries including the United States, Canada, China, Europe, Africa, Russia and Australia. Until December 2007, he was the non-Executive Chairman and a Director for over 25 years of Hooper Industries Group, a privately held UK group consisting of Hooper and Co (Coachbuilders) Ltd (building special bodied Rolls Royce and Bentley motorcars since 1907); Hooper Industries (China) (providing industrial products and components to Europe and the United States); and MetroCab UK (builders of the London Taxis).

In addition, Mr. Dick was a Director and non-executive Chairman of Terracom Broadband and a Director and non-executive Chairman of Rwandatel (the national telecommunications company for Rwanda) until the sale of those companies in 2007. Mr. Dick is also a Director of Austar United Communications Ltd. (AUSTAR) an Australian public company.

Mr. Dick earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wheaton College (Illinois), majoring in political science and economics. He also earned a LL.B from University of Toronto School of Law.

Board Member

Michael T. Fries currently serves as President and CEO of Liberty Global, Inc. A 20-year veteran of the cable and media industry, Mr. Fries assumed his current role at Liberty Global in June 2005. Under his leadership, the Company has grown into the second-largest cable TV operator in the world and the largest outside the U.S. with operations in 15 countries.

Prior to the formation of Liberty Global, Mr. Fries served as President and CEO of UnitedGlobalCom (UGC) – a predecessor to LGI and one of the first companies to expand into international cable TV and programming.

He joined UGC shortly after its formation in 1990 and spent five years as Senior Vice President, Business Development, during which time he spearheaded its expansion into Europe, Asia and Latin America. In 1995, he became president of the Asia-Pacific region and launched LGI’s current business in Australia as well as several other markets. He was promoted to President and COO of UGC in 1998 and CEO in 2004. LGI was created through the merger of UGC and Liberty Media International in June 2005.

Mr. Fries is a member of Liberty Global's board of directors and its two-person executive committee along with the company’s chairman, Dr. John C. Malone. He sits on the board of CableLabs and is active in a number of other professional and philanthropic organizations, including Young Presidents Organization, the World Economic Forum, the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Alliance for Choice in Education.

Mr. Fries holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Wesleyan University.

Paul A. Gould has worked for Allen & Company since 1972 and established Allen & Company’s arbitrage business in 1975. In addition to the Fund, Mr. Gould has been involved in Allen & Company’s merger and acquisition advisory practice where he served as a financial advisor to many Fortune 500 corporations.

He currently serves on the board of directors of Liberty Media Corporation, Liberty Global, Inc., Discovery Holding Company, and Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation. Mr. Gould also serves on the Board of Trustees of Cornell University, The New School for Social Research and the Wildlife Conservation Society. He attended Cornell University and graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Mr Sabur is an Investment Director in HSBC's Emerging Markets Principal Investment group with a particular focus on Africa. HSBC Principal Investments encompasses the private equity fund management businesses and direct investing activities of HSBC globally.

Mr Sabur has acted as financial advisor, lender and investor to transactions in excess of USD7.5billion across sectors and geographies. Prior to joining HSBC Principal Investments, he was a director in HSBC’s Infrastructure team where, in addition to his work with a variety of clients, he was instrumental in establishing the Middle East and North African Infrastructure Fund (“MENA Infrastructure Fund”).

Mr Sabur is a qualified accountant, holds an Economics BA (hons) and a MBA from London Business School. He started his career at Hambros Bank in 1994.
